Morneau isn't ready to play

The Twins are still without Justin Morneau as he continues to recover from a wrist injury. Ron Gardenhire is away from the team for the weekend series in Seattle, but acting manager Scott Ullger reiterated that Morneau won't play in a game until his wrist is ready.

Span's injury isn't related to concussion

Twins' outfielder Denard Span has missed the last two spring training games with a stiff neck. He doesn't believe his latest injury is related to the concussion he suffered last year. Span hopes to be back on the field in a day or two.

Twins' Pavano still isn't throwing
