Paralyzed Benilde-St. Margaret's hockey player Jack Jablonski heads back to school Tuesday to join his classmates, St. Louis Park Patch reports. His mother wrote on the family's CaringBridge page that the household was nervous, excited and anxious about his return to school.
In other news, Los Angeles Kings defenseman and Wisconsin native Davis Drewiske stopped by the Jablonski home with the Stanley Cup, KARE reports. As a matter of tradition, each player on the cup-winning team can spend a day with the iconic trophy, and Drewiske chose to bring it by for Jablonski to see.
Jablonski made slight improvements in his physical therapy this summer, and the family posted video of a recent success in an attempt to crawl.
