Vikings defensive end Jared Allen came in at No. 60 on NFL Network's "Top 100 Players of 2013."

Allen dropped 47 spots from where he was ranked (13th) in 2012, but in fairness, he played all of last season with shoulder and knee injuries. Despite being less than 100 percent healthy, he still finished with 12 sacks -- good enough for the eighth most in the NFL.

Last week, Vikings linebacker Chad Greenway was listed as the 70th best player on the list.

Allen has been in the news two days in a row. On Wednesday he was very vocal to the Star Tribune about his current contract status.
