Jay Cutler is heading to the broadcasting booth for Fox Sports

Amazingly, no NFL teams have offered the free agent a job.

After being cut by the Bears in the off-season, Jay Cutler has found a new gig.

It was confirmed Friday that the quarter back is following the lead of Tony Romo and head to the Fox Sports broadcasting booth for its NFL coverage.

It doesn't mean an end to the 34-year-old's football career, with Sports Illustrated reporting he is still interested in playing football, but he hasn't had much interest since becoming a free agent in March.

It'll mean the Vikings are spared playing against Cutler this season, a player who blew hot and cold throughout his career but more often than not blew hot against the Vikes.

He sports a 69-72 win-loss record, but against the Vikings he has a 9-5 line.

This is also a good time to remind everyone that Jay Cutler was born in Santa Claus, Indiana.

The announcement has obviously led to a fair bit of mockery on Twitter.
