JJ Watt rips, then loves Minnesota in Twitter post

We didn't need that cruel reminder, Mr. Watt.

Do you even remember what the axe looks like, bro?

No, JJ Watt, we don't. It's been almost 15 years since we've (the Gophers) have had it. But thanks for the reminder.

Despite Watt's not-so-subtle jab at the Gophers (Watt went to and is from Wisconsin), we still like the guy because he served up a compliment to Minnesota while in town for the big game.

It's also pretty cool to see him name-checking some bona fide Minnesota hockey towns.

Speaking of Watt... remember that time Lindsey Vonn, a Minnesota native mind you, brought up Watt's groin injury on national TV?
