Nearly into the top 25, here comes undefeated North Dakota State University. The five-time FCS national champions are almost in – currently ranked 29th – after getting more votes than Big Ten Michigan State and other schools like TCU and Georgia.
Saturday, the Bison beat Illinois State easily 31-10 and used defense to hold the Redbirds to under 40 yards rushing. NDSU is now climbing in the polls, in fact, NDSU is the only FCS program to ever be ranked higher than 34th in the AP national football poll.
This season, the Bison beat Iowa on the road and since 2001, NDSU has gone 75-5.
