Justin Morneau joins Twins broadcast booth on Fox Sports North

Morneau isn't going far from the diamond in his first year of retirement.

Justin Morneau is moving from the baseball field to the broadcast booth, and he's going to do so with the Minnesota Twins and FOX Sports North.

FSN announced Tuesday that Morneau will join select broadcasts throughout the season as an analyst for play-by-play guy, Dick Bremer.

Which games Morneau will be in the booth for haven't been announced, but the 2006 American League MVP will be a welcome addition for fans.

In addition to Morneau, the FSN booth will feature Bert Blyleven, Jack Morris, Roy Smalley, Torii Hunter, and LaTroy Hawkins.

The Twins Live crew will feature hosts Tom Hanneman and Anthony LaPanta, with analyst Tim Laudner.

Audra Martin, Marney Gellner and Kevin Gorg will be sideline reporters during games.
