Karl-Anthony Towns may not be playing in the All-Star Game this weekend, but he's still taking part in the festivities at this year's event in New Orleans, Louisiana.

KAT will participate in the Rising Stars Game for the second-straight year. He also stopped by Kevin Garnett's Area 21 discussing what it takes for the Wolves to take the next step.

The former teammates talked about how the mighty Golden State Warriors had to once go through a similar process of patiently waiting to take the next step.

Towns mentioned that if Minnesota could have held onto their double-digit leads this season, they would most likely be a top-five seed.

Garnett also asked Towns about his time at Kentucky and his plans for the weekend in New Orleans.
