All the fanfare is about Kirk Cousins but the Vikings have also rolled out the red carpet for another potential signing on Thursday.

Both NFL.com's Tom Pelissero and NBC Sports' Mike Florio are reporting that defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson is also in town.

Not only did they roll out the red carpet, General Manager Rick Spielman was on a private jet to go get Richardson, just like he was when they picked Cousins up in Atlanta on Wednesday.

Richardson was the 2013 NFL defensive rookie of the year and spent last season at the Seahawks after starting out at the Jets.

Florio notes the Seahawks have opted against tagging Richardson but hope to keep him.

But Seattle is undergoing a multitude of changes, having lost stars Jimmy Graham to the Packers and Richard Sherman to the 49ers.

The prospect of lining up alongside Everson Griffen, Linval Joseph and Danielle Hunter would be undoubtedly alluring to Richardson.
