Minnesota Wild captain Mikko Koivu was released from a Columbus hospital following a hit during the first period of Minnesota's 4-2 victory over the Blue Jackets.
The Star Tribune's Michael Russo tweeted the news of Koivu's release.
Details on the Wild captain's injuries still haven't been released. A hit from from Columbus defenseman David Savard sent Koivu into the boards and he appeared to hit his back and head.
ESPN notes that Koivu was able to leave the ice under his own power, but following the game Wild coach Mike Yeo wasn't sure how long Koivu would be out.
Yeo told reporters he hoped the injury wouldn't be serious, or long term.
Koivu leads the Wild with 32 points, including 22 assists this season.
