Lesnar dropped by Overeem in first round, then stuns UFC world by announcing his retirement

Brock Lesnar's long-awaited return to the Octagon didn't last long Friday night at UFC 141 in Las Vegas, and he won't be back in another Octagon anytime soon. Alistair Overeem dropped Lesnar with a body kick and continued landing strikes and the fight was stopped in the first round. Immediately after the fight Lesnar surprised the UFC world by announcing his retirement.

Alistair Overeem landed a body kick that sent Lesnar to the mat, where he was pummeled by Overeem and the fight was stopped. Lesnar then surprisingly announced his retirement from UFC after the fight.

Lesnar accused of breaking Canadian hunting law

Former Golden Gopher national champion wrestler and Ultimate Fighting star Brock Lesnar was charged Thursday with deer hunting violations in Canada. Lesnar is charged with three counts of violating the Alberta Wildlife Act during a 2010 hunting trip. The maximum penalty for each charge is one-year in prison and a $50,000 fine.
