Lindsey Vonn crashed and had to be carried off the slopes Saturday, People reports.
The Minnesota native had been competing in the women's World Cup super-G race in Andorra.
According to Fox 9, Vonn was more than halfway finished with the run and in the lead when she crashed.
Later that day, Vonn posted an update to Instagram. She said she got caught in some soft snow and "crashed pretty hard."
The skier explained that she suffered a hairline fracture in her left knee. However, she did not rule out competing on Sunday. Vonn said she was going to wait and see how she feels.
Last week, she made history by becoming the first person to win 20 crystal globes. The trophy is awarded to the winner in each of the five disciplines at the end of the World Cup season.
