Scary news today for Minnesota's own Lindsey Vonn.
The Olympic skier crashed during a Downhill training run at Copper Mountain in Colorado, SkiRacing.com reports. She was taken off the mountain on a sled, which is standard procedure, according to the report.
She was expected to return to professional competition at a World Cup event next week.
Although details on her injury are unavailable, it's an encouraging sign that Vonn is walking in the photo above.
“We have no reason to believe it’s anything significant right now," said Tom Kelly, U.S. Ski Team spokesman, via WCCO-TV.
