Lindsey Vonn is making the media rounds on the East Coast and on Monday night she took time to join "The Tonight Show with David Letterman."
The topic of discussion was her love life with professional golfer Tiger Woods. She explains that she got a hole-in-one during the first round of golf she ever played, and that Woods is actually a pretty good skier himself.
Vonn, the Olympic downhill skier who grew up skiing at Buck Hill in Burnsville, spent a solid seven minutes on the show.
Vonn opened up about Woods in an interview with the "Today Show" earlier Monday.
"He's very patient and he's very mentally tough," Vonn said, via Yahoo! Sports. "He's a grinder. He works extremely hard, and he's obviously also had an ACL injury as well and had the same surgery, so he knew what I was going through. He said just be patient, keep working hard, and everything is going to turn around. It really helped me get through it."
Vonn tore her ACL nine months ago in a skiing accident. She says she will be fully healed and ready to go by the time the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia begin in 100 days.
