Minnesota-born skiing champion Lindsey Vonn will not be with her teammates at an introduction of the U.S. Ski Team in Vail, Colo., Thursday, reported The Associated Press.

The St. Paul native was released from a hospital in Vail Wednesday after being admitted Monday for "severe intestinal pain."

Vonn's publicist said that the 2010 Olympic gold medalist and four-time overall World Cup champion is "awaiting results from diagnostic testing for severe intestinal pain."

Vonn has been in Vail to prepare for the women's World Cup races in Aspen on Nov. 24. Her bid to participate in the men's World Cup was rejected by the International Ski Federation.
