Charley Walters of the Pioneer Press reports that Gophers men's basketball coach Tubby Smith will soon sign a three-year contract extension worth a little over $2-million/season. Smith still has two-years left on his current contract, so the extension will keep him with Minnesota through the 2016-17 season.
