Instead of getting millions from a brand like Nike or Adidas, future NBA player Lonzo Ball, projected as a top three pick in the upcoming NBA Draft, is taking the entrepreneurial approach by launching his own shoe brand.

Ball introduced his first signature shoe on Thursday, the ZO2: Prime from Big Baller Brand.

"It's up to us to put forward a movement. That empowers not only ourselves, but our families and our communities as well," Ball says in a video posted to his Twitter. "A movement that allows us to claim what's ours. To claim what we've been working so hard for. A movement that provides opportunity and employment to those closest to you. To those who were there from the beginning."

The prices are pretty steep. The ZO2: Prime costs $495-$695 and an autographed version, the ZO2: Wet costs $995-$1,195. His flip flops, which are called the ZO2: The Signature Slides, are $220.

And there are no refunds or exchanges, according to Sporting News.

Michael Jordan's signature shoes have never debuted on the market for more than $400, according to Darren Rovell.

Dick Vitale had the best line of the day by saying Ball's shoe will cost $4.95 if he plays in the NBA the way he did against Kentucky's De'Aaron Fox in the NCAA Tournament.

That's about when Ball's father, Lavar Ball, chimed in on Twitter.

Enter, Shaq:

Other apparel from the Big Baller Brand:

  • T-shirts: $50-$60
  • Sweatshirts/Hoodies: $50-$80
  • Hats/Beanies: $32-$100
