Lynx defeat Stars 87-79, stay unbeaten

The Minnesota Lynx defeated the San Antonio Stars 87-79 Sunday afternoon in San Antonio, to remain undefeated on the season at 7-0. It was also coach Cheryl Reeve's 100th win.

Seimone Augustus scored 25 points to lead Minnesota, the Associated Press reports.

Maya Moore had 18 points, Tan White added 17 and Lindsay Whalen had 11 points and 10 rebounds as the Lynx swept the home-and-home series with San Antonio (3-4).

Jia Perkins was the top scorer for San Antonio with 16 points as the Stars lost at home for the first time this season.

The Lynx' next game is Friday in Seattle, when they play the Seattle Storm.
