Lynx get back on track with big win over Connecticut


After losing four of the last five games, the Lynx roared back to top form with a 91-77 win over the Connecticut Sun on Thursday night.

Minnesota led by 15 points at the half and didn't have any trouble cruising to the their WNBA-leading eighth road victory of the season (tied with Chicago).

All five Lynx starters scored in double-figures. Rebekkah Brunson led the way with a 24-point, 11-rebound performance for her team-leading 11th double-double of the season.

Seimone Augustus scored 18 and Maya Moore added 17 points.

At 19-7, the Lynx have a one-game lead on the L.A. Sparks for the top spot in the Western Conference playoff race.
