The Minnesota Lynx won their second game of the young WNBA season 78-69 over the Indiana Fever Saturday night.

Lindsay Whalen led the Lynx with 17 points, while Maya Moore and Rebekkah Brunson each had 16 points and 10 rebounds, according to the Associated Press.

The Lynx (2-0) led nearly the entire game, and scored 13 straight points to take a 40-27 lead early in the second half, according to the AP.

Indiana (0-2) closed to within three points, 60-57, with about 7 minutes left in the fourth quarter, but that's as close as the game got the rest of the way.

Seimone Augustus had 11 points for Minnesota, while Marissa Coleman led the Fever with 16 points and Shenise Johnson added 15.

The Lynx play next on Thursday night, when they host the Storm at Target Center.
