The Minnesota Lynx re-signed veteran center Slyvia Fowles, the team said in a press release this morning.

Fowles joined the team in July after being traded midseason from the Chicago Sky, where she had played since joining the WNBA in 2008. Fowles was awarded the Finals MVP trophy after notching double-doubles in nearly all five games of the Lynx's series against the Indiana Fever.

Details of her new contract were not disclosed.

Fowles, a three-time All-Star and two-time gold medal Olympian, was also named a finalist to make the roster for the 2016 Olympic team, along with Lynx teammates Seimone Augustus, Lindsay Whalen and Maya Moore.
