Lynx get back at Sparks with blowout win, 88-64


Minneapolis -- After getting whalloped by the Sparks in Los Angeles last week, the Minnesota Lynx put a whooping on the Sparks, 88-64 at Target Center Friday night.

Minnesota jumped out to a nine point lead after the first quarter. Seimone Augustus scored 12 of her 19 points in the first.

Lindsay Whalen paced five Lynx in double-figures with 20 points and six assists.

Candice Parker led the Sparks with 17 points and 11 rebounds.

Outside of Parker, the Lynx dominated the glass, outrebounding L.A. 47-28.
