Lynx slip past Indiana, 69-62

No Seimone Augustus again, but Monica Wright is proving to be plenty in her absence.

Augustus, missing her second consecutive game with a sprained ankle, saw Wright drop 22 for the second consecutive game in her stead. Wright added nine rebounds, as the Lynx improved their road record to 3-3 on the year in a 69-62 win over the Indiana Fever.

Kevin Durant's future wife also put up 22 in a 94-72 win over the Atlanta Dream Tuesday, the Lynx second game without their second-leading scorer Augustus. There is still no word when Minnesota will get the LSU alumnus back.

The always reliable Lindsey Whalen led the Lynx with 23 points while adding 5 rebounds. Minnesota has won three in a row, now a Western Conference best 10-3 on the year.

Today was the first of a four-game road trip for Minnesota, they face the Tulsa Shock Saturday night before getting six days off, returning to the court July 19 with a matchup against the San Antonio Silver Stars.
