Mauer gets private swing lesson from Brunansky

Author:

Joe Mauer might have the purest swing in all of baseball, but even he needs a hitting lesson every now and then. On Wednesday Mauer received a private swing lesson from new Twins hitting coach, Tom Brunanasky.

The pair spent about 20 minutes together, according to the Star Tribune.

"It's not like we're going to reinvent Joe Mauer," Brunansky said of the instructional. "All we want is to let Joe feel what his legs should feel like, get his legs under him. So we're just going to go out and mess around and get that feeling back."

Let's be honest. Mauer has a perfect swing ... and it's all thanks to this:
