Joe Mauer took a nasty foul tipped baseball to his left knee in the ninth inning of the Twins' win over Kansas City on Sunday. He stayed in the game, but afterward said, "it's pretty sore right now." Mauer will try and do everything he can to control the swelling with hopes to play against the Angels Monday night.
