Twinsfest is back at the Metrodome

It's been two years since the Twins' entire team was together at the Metrodome, but this year's team will be there for Twinsfest this weekend. Last year's Twinsfest weekend was moved to the National Sports Center in Blaine after the Metrodome roof collapsed.

Governor Mark Dayton informed the Minnesota Vikings on Monday that if they want a stadium plan approved this year, it will have to be built on the current Metrodome site. Vikings lose final game of current Metrodome lease

The Minnesota Vikings say they have played their last game in the Metrodome under the current 30-year-old lease. It officially expires February 1. The team now considers itself homeless without legislation to help fund a new stadium. Lawmakers begin the 2012 legislative session on January 24. The Vikings (3-13) lost the season finale to the Bears, 17-13, matching the worst record in franchise history first set in 1984.
