There are good Christians at Minnesota United.

The team has announced it's bringing forward its home game against Atlanta United home by a day so it doesn't clash with Easter.

The match was initially set to go ahead at 1 p.m. on Easter Sunday, Apr. 1, but United announced on Wednesday that it'll instead be going ahead a day earlier.

It will now kick off from TCF Bank Stadium at 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, with tickets bought for Apr. 1 still valid for the match.

"Based on feedback from our season ticket holders — many of whom had conflicts on Easter Sunday — we’ve worked with the league and the University of Minnesota to make this possible," said MNUFC CEO Chris Wright.

"When we were initially working on our schedule, this was the date we had targeted for this match and we’re delighted that the opportunity has opened up with the U to make this change."

This of course could be a bit of a bummer for any Atlanta fans who'd already booked flights up to the Twin Cities on the Sunday.

The Loons play their home opener against Chicago Fire on Mar. 17.
