It's going to be the Dalvin Cook show to begin training camp because running back Latavius Murray hasn't been medically cleared to practice.
The Vikings placed Murray on the active/physically unable to perform list on Monday. That means he's not ready to practice with the team, but as soon as he's medically cleared he's allowed to join the team right away.
Murray being unable to practice to start training camp is a surprise. After undergoing ankle surgery to remove bone spurs in March, the Vikings released a statement saying they expected Murray to be ready to training camp.
Head coach Mike Zimmer has not said how long Murray will sit out before joining the team, but there haven't been any indications that Murray won't eventually suit up.
The reserve/physically unable to perform list is the one that keeps players sidelined for a minimum of the first six weeks of the season. There's a good chance Teddy Bridgewater ends up on that list, but probably not until the end of the preseason.
