The pressure is on for Bill Musgrave and the Minnesota Vikings.

Most of the finger-pointing for a slow-to-go offense is aimed at quarterback Christian Ponder, but Musgrave says Ponder is right where he needs to be.

"He works hard every day," Musgrave said of Ponder, according to the Pioneer Press. "Very tough guy. We know he's tough physically, tough mentally. He's continued to get acclimated with (new receivers) Greg Jennings and Cordarrelle Patterson. It's been exciting to witness.

Some fans have high expectations for rookie wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson. "CP", as his teammates call him, tells the Pioneer Press that he'll "be ready" when his time comes.

Meanwhile, Musgrave hasn't ruled out a return to the quarterback position for Joe Webb. NBC Sports has the story.
