Tuesday's American League wild-card game between the Orioles and Blue Jays wasn't without drama. With the game tied 2-2 in the seventh inning, Toronto's Melvin Upton Jr. lifted a fly ball to deep left-center where Baltimore's Hyun Soo Kim made the catch for the final out of the inning.

But as the ball was about to drop into Kim's glove, a fan in the stands threw a can of beer over Kim's left shoulder.

"Someone threw a beer down at my player," Orioles outfielder Adam Jones said, according to ESPN. "That's about as pathetic as it gets between the lines. You don't do that. I don't care how passionate you think you are. Yell, cuss, scream, tell us we're horrible. We get that. We're the opposition. We completely understand that. To throw something at a player, that's as pathetic as it gets."

The fan took off and has yet to be identified.

But the game went on, and the score stayed 2-2 until Edwin Encarnacion's walk-off, 3-run homer in the bottom of the 11th.
