Must see: Nationals crush 5 homers in 6 at-bats, including 4 straight

Four straight homers tied a MLB record, and then they hit another.

Until today (Thursday), no team in Major League Baseball had hit four consecutive homers since 2010 when the Arizona Diamondbacks did it against the Milwaukee Brewers.

Today, the Brewers were again the victim as the Washington Nationals went back-to-back-to-back-to-back with homers from Brian Goodwin, Wilmer Difo, Bryce Harper and Ryan Zimmerman.

After finally recording an out, the Brewers served up the fifth long ball of the inning on a homer by Anthony Rendon.

Prior to the Diamondbacks doing it in 2010, the White Sox did it in 2008, Red Sox did it in 2007 and the Dodgers did it in 2006.

And this is crazy, but J.D. Drew was part of the four straight homers for both the Red Sox and Dodgers, and his little brother Stephen Drew homered during the White Sox's four straight.

At the time this post went live the Nationals were up to eight homers in the game.
