Ricky Rubio is often compared to Steve Nash, but the Wolves' rookie couldn't keep up with the Suns' veteran on Thursday night. Nash scored 13 points to go along with 17 assists as Phoenix beat Minnesota, 104-95.

Rubio ended the game with 13 points and two assists. Kevin Love, who missed Wednesday's game against the Clippers because of flu-like symptoms, led the Wolves with 23 points and 10 rebounds.

Love leads Wolves past Hornets, 87-80

Kevin Love scored 34 points and pulled down 15 rebounds to lead the Wolves past the Hornets, 85-80 Friday night in New Orleans. Ricky Rubio made his first career start. He finished with 12 points, 9 assists and 6 rebounds in a team high 43 minutes.

Love, Wolves beat Clippers for win No. 20

The Timberwolves reached 20 wins on the season with Monday's 95-94 win over the visiting L.A. Clippers. Chris Paul missed a free-throw to tie the game with a little more than two seconds remaining and the Wolves held on for the win.

The Wolves fought back from a 24 point first half deficit to give the Bulls a run for their money, only to lose 111-100 Tuesday night at Target Center. Last year's NBA MVP Derrick Rose led all scorers with 31 points. Ricky Rubio led Minnesota with 13 points and 12 assists.

The Timberwolves blew up the Rockets with a 42 point third quarter en route to a 120-108 win in Houston Monday night. Ricky Rubio finished with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 11 assists. Kevin Love scored 29 points and Michael Beasley added a season high 34 points.
