New look T-Wolves beat Bucks 117-96

Minnesota opened up the first of their two preseason games with Milwaukee Saturday, and fans longing to see the newest pack of Timberwolves were treated to a high-scoring affair.

I know it's only the preseason, but the T-Wolves look like a fun team going forward.

A svelte Kevin Love could probably sell a diet-program in his name. The forward lost 25 pounds in the offseason and didn't miss a beat, scoring 21 points and grabbing 15 boards.

Rookies Derrick Williams and Ricky Rubio looked more than willing to try for alley-oops during the exhibition, even connecting in the second half.

And how about Minnesota's range? The team hit 16 0f 24 from the three-point line. Not too shabby.

Minnesota is young and looks poised to play uptempo basketball, so buckle up for an interesting 2011-2012 season.

The T-Wolves will get another crack at Milwaukee Wednesday when they meet for their final warm-up before the season.
