Heading into Week 13 of the NFL schedule, Chicago remains the class of the NFC North, as it enjoys a one-game lead over Green Bay, a two-game lead over the Vikings and a four-game bulge over last-place Detroit.
The Bears hammered the Vikings 28-10 at Soldier Field Sunday, as quarterback Jay Cutler returned from a concussion. But while Chicago walked all over Minnesota, it also lost five starters during that game. At this point, it seems like a costly victory.
The Packers, meanwhile, were humiliated by the Super Bowl Champion New York Giants on national TV Sunday night. Green Bay, now 7-4, is still in the driver's seat for an NFC Wild Card spot. They host Minnesota next Sunday.
The 4-7 Lions? It will take a miraclefor that team to get into the playoff race again after losing to Houston in overtime on Thanksgiving -- a game they should have won. Oh well, that's Lions football.
