One more week to go in the NFL regular season, and the NFC North has one team in the playoffs, two teams still hoping to get in ... and the Lions.

First of all, the NFC North champion Green Bay Packers. They destroyed Tennessee Sunday, 55-7, in a quest to secure a first-round by in the playoffs. Very impressive.

The Bears, meanwhile, clobbered the Arizona Cardinals, 28-13 to stay alive in the playoff hunt. A win next week against the Lions -- and a Vikings loss to the Packers -- and Chicago will be a Wild Card.

The Lions, who lost to Atlanta Saturday night, 31-18, are now 4-11 -- and can spoil the Bears season with a win at home.
