NFL star Darrelle Revis facing charges from Sunday morning fight

This looks like some real bad news for Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis.

One of the best-known defensive players in the NFL is facing several charges from an incident that allegedly occurred early Sunday morning near Pittsburgh.

According to the Pittsburgh Department of Public Safety, charges of robbery, terroristic threats, conspiracy and aggravated assault are pending against New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis, 31, in an incident that left two men unconscious early Sunday morning.

Police dispatched to the scene on the city's south side around 2:40 a.m. discovered a 21-year-old and a 22-year-old man unconscious.

Pittsburgh police say the 22-year-old man had spotted Revis and began recording their interaction with his cellphone. Police say at some point Revis took the phone and attempted to delete the video. As the 21-year-old man tried to help retrieve the phone, police say Revis tossed it onto the roadway.

Authorities say an argument followed and a man came to assist Revis. Both the 22-year-old and 21-year-old men state they were punched, then remember waking up to talk to police.

Pro Football Talk reports the Jets are aware of the incident, but have not spoken to Revis about it and would have no further comment.

An attorney for Revis has a much different version of what happened. Blaine Jones told KDKA-TV that Revis needed medical attention after being assaulted by five people last weekend.

Jones also told NFL Network that Revis was not the aggressor in the incident and that he has not yet spoken to Pittsburgh police.

Here is Revis' version of Sunday morning's events:
