No respect: Gophers get a no vote in USA Today poll

Hey, c'mon here ... a little respect! They made it all the way to the Meineke Car Care Bowl last year.

Not happening.

The first USA Today coaches poll is out ahead of the 2013 college football season, and the University of Minnesota Gophers didn't muster a single vote, according to the Pioneer Press.

Defending champ Alabama checks in at No. 1, with Ohio State at No. 2.

Four other Big Ten teams made the Top 25: Michigan (17), Nebraska (18), Northwestern (22) and Wisconsin (23).

The Gophers' annual quest to change minds starts Aug. 29 in the season opener against UNLV.
