North Dakota State, Sam Houston State return to title game

The North Dakota State Bison football team booked their second consecutive trip to Frisco, Texas on Friday night after beating the Georgia Southern Eagles 23-20 in the Fargodome, the Forum of Fargo-Moorhead reported. Quarterback Brock Jensen scored a 5-yeard draw on fourth down with three minutes remaining to clinch the victory.

The defending champion Bison will face Sam Houston State in the FCS championship game after the Bearkats topped the Eastern Washington Eagles 45-42 on Saturday night, Associated Press reports.

The matchup between NDSU and SHSU will be played on Jan. 5 at 1 p.m. in Frisco, Texas. This is a rematch of last season's title game, which the Bison won, 17-6.
