Lakeview Christian Academy senior Anders Broman set the state high school basketball career scoring record Thursday night against Mesabi East, the Duluth News Tribune reports.

Broman needed just seven points going into the game to break the record and ended up scoring 42 points in the Lions' 100-87 victory, giving Broman 4,122 career points.
