Soccer legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic has joined Major League Soccer, signing for the Los Angeles Galaxy on Friday.
The 36-year-old Swede has played for some of the world's biggest clubs during his illustrious career, including Barcelona, Paris St. Germain and Inter Milan.
Now the eccentric superstar will ply his trade in L.A., announcing his arrival with a full page ad in the Los Angeles Times that simply said: "Dear Los Angeles, You're Welcome."
Among his other bon mots, he once said "I can't help but laugh at how perfect I am," and when asked what he was getting his wife for her birthday, he responded: "Nothing. She already has Zlatan."
When you can see him
Now he's playing full-time in MLS, fans of Minnesota United will get to see him in action this coming October.
The Galaxy are United's last home game of the season, with Zlatan's men playing at TCF Bank Stadium on Oct. 21 in a match that will be broadcast live on Fox Sports North.
