Parise on labor talks breaking down: It's not 'Doomsday'

Author:

After NHL labor talks broke down again Thursday night, the general attitude about the possibility of the entire season being cancelled grew more negative than it had been in weeks. However, Minnesota Wild forward Zach Parise is still optimistic the season will eventually start. He says "people are being a little dramatic thinking it's Doomsday."

The roller coaster ride Thursday night was one for the ages.

Don't wait around for any breaking news this weekend. The NHL and NHLPA are not expected to meet over the next two days.
