The Minnesota Twins picked up their first road-victory of the season with a 8-1 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Thursday afternoon. Minnesota drew a season-high nine walks and were backed by a strong outing from Ricky Nolasco.

1. Take a walk

The Twins offense was very patient against Milwaukee starter Taylor Jungmann, who issued six walks through his four innings of work and walked nine times overall.

Minnesota ranks been drawing walks all season, ranking third in the American League in bases on balls coming into play Thursday. And now, with nine walks during Thursday's win, Minnesota is first in the AL in walks.

2. Strong outing from Nolasco

Ricky Nolasco pitched another solid game for the Twins, allowing just one run and striking out seven. Nolasco has gone into the seventh inning in all three starts this season.

He's starting to heat up at the plate, and is drawing a ton of walks as well.
