From the department of generally useless information, the Vikings lone representative for the 2014 Pro Bowl, rookie Cordarrelle Patterson, was drafted by Deion Sanders Wednesday as a part of the NFL's new way of determining Pro Bowl teams.
Sanders and Jerry Rice were the two captains drafting for the teams, and the NFL's new scheme to spice up the all-star game seems to have generally missed the mark.
Nevertheless, Patterson will serve as Primetime's kick returner, and at his primary position of receiver will join Desean Jackson of the Eagles, A.J. Green of the Bengals, Dez Bryant of the Cowboys, and Antonio Brown of the Steelers on Team Sanders.
Patterson looks generally happy.
Dandy. A little piece of us just generally died reporting this completely meaningless event.
