Pekovic, Shved won't make Wolves' road trip

Neither Nikola Pekovic or Alexey Shved will join the Timberwolves for their games at Washington and Charlotte on Friday and Saturday.

The Star Tribune reports Shved is closer to returning than Pekovic, and he's been working out twice a day trying to get back.

Ricky Rubio, who was frustrated with acting head coach Terry Porter's decision to keep him on the bench in the fourth quarter against the Nets, has yet to talk with Porter. But he says they are "adults" and they'll share their thoughts and work it out.

Porter tells the Pioneer Press that he's just trying to "hold the guys together" until coach Rick Adelman returns. Adelman is away from the team to be with his hospitalized wife.
