Pelicans fly past Wolves with 110-88 win
The New Orleans Pelicans played like a team competing for the last Western Conference playoff spot Sunday, taking down the Timberwolves 110-88. The Pelicans held the lead the whole game, the Star Tribune reports.
Andrew Wiggins led the Wolves with 20 points.
Anthony Bennett and Robbie Hummel returned from injuries and played Sunday, but the Minnesota bench is still full of injured starters.
NBA.com reports Ricky Rubio sat out with an ankle. Kevin Garnett is still nursing a sore left knee, but stayed at the hotel due to illness.
The Wolves have lost three straight, and they've only won three games in the last 17.
They travel to Utah on Monday.
