Percy Harvin was doubtful heading into Seattle's big Monday clash against New Orleans, and he was ruled out as final lineup changes were released to the media tonight.
Harvin's absence comes just one week after making his season debut against the Vikings in which he only touched the ball twice.
Head coach Pete Carroll revealed last week that Harvin's surgically repaired hip that kept him out the first 10 games of the season was acting up, and Harvin reportedly met with doctors and got a cortisone shot in the hip.
The Seahawks are waiting to see how Harvin responds to the injection, and NFL insider Ian Rapoport said Monday that Harvin could be held out until the playoffs.
Seattle is 10-1 and they've won 14 in a row at home going into their matchup with the Saints.
