Play for the Wolves? Ray Allen's comeback won't include Minnesota

NBA scoring guard Ray Allen is reportedly ending his two year hiatus and returning to the NBA.

And it appears the 40-year-old will not consider joining the up-and-coming Timberwolves nor make a move to Minnesota.

Allen won one of his two NBA Championships with Kevin Garnett while in Boston, but it appears the Wolves are down Allen's list as he favors potential teams such as Cleveland, Golden State, San Antonio and the LA Clippers, ESPN reports.

Allen was drafted by the Wolves with the fifth pick in the 1996 NBA draft, and then then traded for Stephon Marbury.

Allen is a 10-time all star, a two-time NBA champion and a gold medal winner in the 2000 Olympic games.
