After much speculation about the relationship brewing between Vikings' Christian Ponder and ESPN sideline report Samantha Steele, the quarterback confirmed Thursday that the two are dating.

Rumors started when Ponder became chatty about Steele on the social media site.

Just over a month ago, Ponder told Star Tribune gossip columnist C.J. that he was single and that "football is my girlfriend."
