Prep superstar Tyus Jones to drop college bombshell Friday at Apple Valley High

After years and years of waiting, the basketball world will finally know where the best point guard in the Class of 2014 will be playing his college basketball.

In addition to Jones announcing his decision, friend and alleged future teammate Jahlil Okafor will do the same.

Okafor is rated as the top recruit in the 2014 class by Rivals, and Jones is rated fifth.

Since the two have been asked about where they'll be attending college, they have reiterated time and again that they will play their college ball together.

Unfortunately for Gopher basketball fans, Okafor has never considered Minnesota an option, and the two are reportedly deciding between Duke, Kansas, and Baylor.

The maroon and gold already lost out on one elite in-state recruit last Friday when DeLaSalle forward Reid Travis spurned the Gophers for Stanford, and should Jones go elsewhere, that would leave Rashad Vaughn as the lone member of the "Big Three" still giving the Gophers a chance.
