The Wild (27-25-9) are back in St. Paul to host the Sharks Sunday night. Minnesota had its two-game winning streak snapped Friday with a loss in Dallas. San Jose (32-21-7) could move back into a tie for first place, but the Sharks haven't won at the Xcel Energy Center in almost two years.

The Colorado Avalanche buried the Minnesota Wild, 7-1 in Denver last night. The Avs put the game away with three goals in a 1-minute, 54-second stretch in the second period. The Wild broke an eight-period scoreless streak when Devin Setoguchi scored in the third period.

Minnesota will play their next nine of 12 games on the road. The Wild are desperately in need of some goal production when they visit Calgary Sunday night. Puck drops at 5 p.m.

The Wild (22-16-6) will meetup with the Blues (25-12-6) on the road Saturday night. Minnesota continued to struggle Thursday losing 5-2 to the Blackhawks. The Wild are now 2-9-3 in their last 14 games. St. Louis also lost on home ice Thursday to Vancouver in overtime. However, that was just the second loss for the Blues in 11 homes games. Minnesota beat St. Louis twice at the Xcel in November.

The Wild (22-18-7) look to avoid their fifth consecutive loss when the Stars (24-20-2) return to the Xcel Energy Center Saturday night. Minnesota needs to boost its offense after being outscored 17-6 during an 0-3-1 road trip. Four players from the Houston Aeros will join the Wild for the game in St. Paul. Dallas is also only one loss away from its fifth consecutive defeat.
